St Bede’s is proud to be one of the first schools in Lambeth to use the International Primary Curriculum to create an effective curriculum that provides the most appropriate support for teachers and others to develop children’s learning. Early Years (Nursery & Reception)
At St Bede’s, we follow the Early Years Foundation Stage Framework in the Foundation Stage (Nursery & Reception). Please see the link below for an in-depth view of the areas of learning taught in the Early Years.

We teach the EYFS Framework through the International Primary Curriculum and our topics change every half term. Please see the IPC tab for more information.
Key Stage 1 (Year 1 & Year 2)
We follow the National Primary Curriculum for all areas of learning in Key Stage 1 (Year 1 and Year 2). Please see the link below for more information about the content of this curriculum.

RE, English and Mathematics are taught discreetly in Key Stage 1. This means that we have set, dedicated lessons for these subjects.
Science and Foundation Subjects are taught through the International Primary Curriculum, and our topics change every half term. Please see the IPC tab for more information.
As much as possible, RE, Maths and English lessons are linked to the IPC topic of the half term.
